Foundation

About Us: The Art of Stepping Foundation (AOSF), a nonprofit organization, was first established on April 14, 2011, by the Art of Stepping™ Founder Jessica ‘REMO’ Saul as a charitable organization to fundraise and help fiscally support artistic programs, such as but not limited to stepping, in under-privileged communities nationwide. The Foundation was primarily created in response to the ongoing budget cuts in education that in most cases first affect after-school programs conducted nationwide, primarily those related to the arts. Art programs, whether during or after school, have been found to provide students an outlet for expressing themselves creatively. Famous artists, such as Will.I.Am and Denzel Washington, are strong supporters of after-school program because of the benefits they experienced as a result. AOSF’s goal is to help organizations and schools continue to provide these artistic programs despite budgetary constraints, which will ultimately help keep youth active, healthy, and growing artistically.

Vision: AOSF envisions a world with healthy and active communities, where individuals of all ages have access to artistic programs in their communities that encourage healthy lifestyles and prevent obesity and other related diseases.

Mission: To fight childhood obesity and other related ailments through the Art of Stepping™.
