REMO INC STEP CHAMPIONSHIP - National Step Championship.
Remo Production Inc. (RP) took control over the annual summer step show and created the Step/Stroll Coalition( which consist of over 11 Greek Letter Organizations). In collaboration with the new Step/Stroll Coalition, this new stepping event was dedicated to unifying stepping amongst the members of the Latino and African American fraternal community. Now in its second year, the Remo Inc. Step Championship was a memorable show not only for the Greek community, but for the non-Greeks in the audience. This show is and will continue to be an important part of informing the world about Latino/African-American Greek life and fighting those stereotypes we attempt to fight every day. Artistic Confessions Tour
Artistic Confessions is a national college tour featuring a night of artistic expression through the art form of stepping and strolling. Recognizing the importance that our undergraduates play in the future of our community, we have chosen to use this vehicle to enlighten them with the necessary tools and information to further enhance their minds. Our goal is to not only educate our undergraduate peers, but to also showcase our organizations via this tour. In 2009, Remo Production, Inc. and the Stroll/Step Coalition have expanded their efforts by creating by re-establishing the Artistic Confessions Tour with the goal of further strengthening the Greek Unity amongst Latino and African American Fraternal Organizations. Healthy Step Tour - Fighting Child Obesity through the Art of Stepping™
Join REMO, National Step Choreographer and Founder of the Art of Stepping™ , this year as she travels throughout the New York/New Jersey area visiting inner city schools to help promote youth fitness by teaching the basics of the Art of Stepping. Remo and her company are the 1st in the nation to build and establish a K-12 after school stepping program. Remo’s success in stepping resulted in filming an episode on the popularMTV network series “True Life” and American Latino TV recognized her as a leader in the community for her ground breaking work.
